Description

M-MLV Reverse Transcriptase(RNase H-) is a modified and optimized M-MLV reverse transcriptase, which can use RNA or DNA as a template to synthesize complementary DNA strands in the presence of primers, that is, the first strand of cDNA (complementary DNA) can be synthesized. This product is one of the most commonly used reverse transcriptases. It is widely used to synthesize the first strand of cDNA after obtaining total RNA or mRNA. It can be subsequently used for PCR and real-time PCR, also known as quantitative PCR (quantitative PCR, qPCR)., cDNA second-strand synthesis and cDNA library construction. This product has no RNase H activity, high reverse transcription efficiency and long product length. Compared with wild-type M-MLV reverse transcriptase, this product has no RNase H activity and cannot selectively cleave RNA in RNA and DNA hybrid duplexes, thus contributing to the efficient synthesis of longer cDNA. This product has been tested to easily complete reverse transcription of genes up to 8 kb in length, and the maximum length of reverse transcription can exceed 10 kb
